In the 80's I showed Aussies in Oklahoma when they were in rare breeds. It was short lived due to horse showing and toddlers. I came back to Aussies when the kids got older and were heading to college. It's always been my only breed. My Kennel name is Dove Creek Aussies located in Louisa, VA. By trade I am a Sr Security Specialist for a Defense Contractor.

In the ‘80s as I carried my little Samoyed girl to the show ring through pouring rain and mud, I thought, “I must be crazy!” And so this wild ride began. Owning Aussies since 1993, and after over 12 years with the Heart Of New York ASC, I moved to the Shenandoah Valley in 2013 and joined BRASC. I have actively maintained membership and Board positions in several other ASCA affiliates, all breed clubs and National organizations. Approved in 1998, “Aliyah” is a permanently registered kennel name with ASCA and AKC. Showing and titling in both venues, Aliyah proudly has produced Best In Show, Best In Show Specialty, multiple group placing conformation dogs, as well as many advanced titled performance dogs. I am honored to be recognized as an ASCA Provisional Breeder Judge and an AKC Breeder Of Merit. I am dedicated to conserving the versatile Australian Shepherd, with emphasis on temperament and structure. I have further stated my philosophy in my article “I Challenge You” https://www.aliyahaussies.com/, which, along with a few poems, has been published in several breed and all breed magazines and newsletters.
